Heart Reality is a science fiction universe narrated by Aura, a cyber-being whose connection to alien heart-technology changes everything.
As the origin story of the COR.NXA Universe, Heart Reality introduces the core encounter between humanity and the alien unknown that shapes every timeline thereafter. The name holds deeper meaning: "cor" is Latin for "heart," expressing truths waiting to surface.
This heart tech has been abused on Earth, causing disturbances across realities. As she travels different paths through different worlds to uncover the truth behind the corruption, she also learns about her own origins.
The immersive COR.NXA Universe experience is not yet open to the public.
The Scientific Anchor
Long before modern scientific grounding, ancient civilizations explored the heart's significance through cardiocentrism, theology, philosophy, and spiritualism—offering analogies, theories, and metaphors that attributed multidimensional value to the heart beyond the physical plane of existence. References to afterlife and sky realities in ancient records exemplify these multidimensional perspectives.
Centuries later, this heart concept gained scientific grounding in neurocardiology and neuroscience research. Discoveries in these fields—from Dr. Claude Bernard's foundational work to Dr. Andrew J. Armor's 1991 research—establish a scientific basis for exploring the heart beyond its conventional role.
The heart is known scientifically as the 'Little Heart Brain'—the Intrinsic Cardiac Nervous System (ICNS)—housing approximately 40,000 neurons. This neural network acts as a local regulatory system that can sense, process, and act upon cardiac information independently of the main brain. It provides essential local control over heart function, contributing to rhythmic stability and adapting the heart's activity to meet the body's immediate needs. Aura learns who she is and who the groups behind the corruption of heart technology are. She travels across multiple realities and locations to uncover the source of the corruption. The story adaptation uses familiar city hubs to make the narrative more accessible, while the original draft features futuristic fictional COR.Cities as urban centers. She discovers disturbing truths and confronts those behind the corruption. Multiple characters along the way help her or try to utilize her to gain access to the technology.

Born from Reality
This Heart Reality universe was inspired by a real person who works in health and science, and who beautifully captured the Halloween scene in Sleepy Hollow and NYC in 2022 while wearing a cybersuit and an LED heart-shaped face mask. This immersive experience felt like stepping back in time. This narrative represents years of crafting worldbuilding from real-life experiences—a deeply personal project rooted in lived journeys adaptations.
